不是每个学生都有实习机会 考证只是一种尝试 学习背后的知识并化为自己的能力同样重要 我也在国外读书 一边考cfa 一边上研究生 事实证明考cfa的过程让我的专业知识比同班同学更扎实 成绩自然比他们更出色
楼主看问题片面了 考证实习不矛盾 完全可以在考cfa的同时积极准备实习 如果实习经验和证书都有岂不妙哉？
经验 证书都会对我们今后的事业有所帮助 能得到的我们都努力去争取就好！

I am a trading desk quant in US. I study FRM to move to risk management. I feel the study is very helpful and anyone has the right to know what he/she wants to know. Nothing wrong with it to study FRM and write the exam.

我觉得楼主分析得不全面，我相信大多数考证的同仁，并没有你想得那么势利的，当然，拿到这些证书有可能不会决定你的职业的成功，但是在考证的过程中，是我们一个系统的学习过程和不断的去靠近现实工作的一个过程，而且通过学习至少会学习到很多在课堂上学习不到的东西，我个人的体会是自己学习的东西肯定比在学习上课学习要深刻得多的，我再行你通过了CPA和没有通过CPA的情况应该是两种不同的心境和底气的，学习的事情确实不能强求，只是个人的事情。。。

支持楼上！LZ有些话说的固然不错，但是这个TOOL还是很必要的，我也很想去实习去工作取得工作经验，但是怎么进去是个很难的问题。。。 6楼说的很好，有些时候the exam is a necessary tool,.not purpose....

At this moment, I feel worthless of spending time on this meaningless topic as reality already proves the contrary (i.e. passing FRM is not a pass ticket to financial risk management job market).

Especially to university students at last year of study, acquiring the technical knowledge through FRM exam. is no right or no wrong if you can handle it beside your core curriculum. However, pursuing a pass in the exam. for the sake of entry key to finance industry is a naive thought.

I have seen tons of Chinese with great technical skills/high academic degrees who are extremely intelligent and hard working, but they are not those who get promotion and raises.
why?
because they lack of presentation skill, leadership, management skill, open mind for culture diversity.

1+1=2, this is true, but you need to understand how it works in the business world, otherwise, you will always be those high-tech people doing 'labor' work at the bottom of the corporate latter.
