什么是risk-adjusted survival curve ？

投稿了一篇临床文章，做了生存分析，一修回来了，reviewer给了这样一个建议: The authors used Cox proportional hazard model to find the association of cancer and 28-day mortality in patient with hypertension. Why didn’t you plot a risk-adjusted survival curve from the model rather than KM curve ?

请问大家，这个risk-adjusted survival curve怎么做？

It means that you need to plot the KM curve depends on all the other co-variates available in your data. In R using the "survival" package:

model = coxph(obj1 ~ Sex + Age + ...) #sex, age, etc. are the other co-variates
plot(survfit(model))

我的研究变量是cancer，原本我画的生长曲线是两条，即cancer的有无（0和1），但是按照您说的（如下代码），加上其他混杂因素后，这样的图根本画不出来。而且加上混杂因素后，怎么能保证图中的生长曲线还是以cancer的有无作为分组的呢？
> km1 <- coxph(Surv(sur_4, death_4) ~ cancer+lactate+hemoglobin+age, data = tie48)
> plot(km1)

这样的代码画出的图，只有一条曲线，就是所有病人的生存情况。并不会出现分组。

You were right about the outcome; there was only one risk-adjusted KM curve, but it's what the paper reviewer wanted you to do.

我觉得只有病人总体的一条生存曲线，并不能说明我要研究的cancer对于生存的影响吧？
是否可以这样：
data1<-filter(tie48,cancer==0)
data2<-filter(tie48,cancer==1)
km1 <- coxph(Surv(sur_4, death_4) ~ lactate+hemoglobin+age, data = data1)
km2 <- coxph(Surv(sur_4, death_4) ~ lactate+hemoglobin+age, data = data2)
plot(km1)
如此就能展示cancer=0和cancer=1两组病人的曲线了。
line(km2)
