You need a SID file with Platform_long=Microsoft Windows Workstation 64-bit.

Also, try install the program to be run on XP envrionment in Win7. Check program compatibility help.

I tried SAS9.1.3 but failed and was told that it cannot be installed on 64bit OS. I tried SAS9.2 and everything looked OK until SID confirmation. It seems like to ok if you have 64 bit SID.
I also tried to setup on Compatible Mode but still unsuccess.
So where could we get a 64-bit SID??

Does this mean the sid licence decide whether you can install sas on 32 or 64 bit machine?
