今天来谈谈商业email上常见的几个错误，这些错误是比较「高级」的错误，程度不错的学生，也许也会犯。因为句子念起来无违和感，而且同事之间抄来抄去也都这么写，久而久之潜意识也就接受了。来看看自己有没有写错：

1. 请看以下的信息。

（X）Please see below information

（O）Please see the information below.

Below这个字是〚be+low〛，顾名思义，是”在什么之下”，它只能够当介系词和副词，不能当形容词，既然不能当形容词，就不能用来修饰information，必须放在名词后面当副词才对。

和below相对的字是above，above可以当形容词，也可以当副词：

（O）Please send the articles to the address given above. 请把文章寄到上述地址。(above是副词)

（O）The email was sent to the above address. 邮件已寄至上述地址。（above是形容词）

2. 如果有任何疑问，请直接找我。

（X）If you have any questions, please find me directly.

（O）If you have any questions, please come to me directly.

这里的「找」并非「找到」或「寻找」的找，所以既不是find，也不是look for。就像我们对外国朋友说，来找我，英文怎么说：

（X）Find me next time when you are here.

（X）Look for me next time when you are here.

（O）Come and see me next time when you are here.

3. 星期一方便吗？

（不自然）Is Monday ok for you?

（自然）Is Monday ok with you?

我们发现，如果是老外，问你可不可以约个时间，多半会说”If it’s ok withyou...＂，但老中就会说”If it’s ok for you…＂，真要追究，用with比较好。为什么呢？

OK for you => good for you 对某人有好处

With没有那么直接，代表一种agree with，同意某件事，而不是指那件事对我有好处。

4. 如果有任何需要我帮忙的，请让我知道。

（X）If there is anything needs my help, please let me know.

（△）If there's anything I can do to help, please let meknow.

（O）Please let me know if you have any further questions.

前面这句话直译，文法有错。估计这样写的人，是不想直接说if you need myhelp这样直白表达，绕着表达，句子长一点，就变成＂If there's anything I can do to help….＂，这样讲很正式，且有距离感，直接请人家有问题就可提出，其实也就表示愿意帮忙了。
