I passed SAS Base in 2007 before that I got SAS Programming I & II, I think SAS online tutor is more than enough and the training is not necessary if you have used SAS already.
2008 I got SAS Macro & SAS Programming III, when I had the training in SAS, I have asked the teacher there whether I should do the SAS Adv, she suggested me to wait for the base almost expire because SAS Certification is only 3years valid. So this month 17, I passed SAS Adv. Again the onlie tutor is enough.
I remember only two thing I did not see in the tutor are: Hash Object (in the Programming III) and about using observations number get data from compressed datasets.
