作者：斯坦利·克罗（1934年3月5日－1999）(Stanley Kroll)是美国著名的期货专家，1960年进入全球金融中心华尔街。他在华尔街的33年之中，一直在期货市场上从事商品期货交易，积累了大量的经验。在20世纪70年代初的商品期货暴涨行情中，用1.8万美元获利100万美元。
