Logistic Regression is an increasingly popular
analytic tool. Used to predict the probability that the
'event of interest' will occur as a linear function of
one (or more) continuous and/or dichotomous
independent variables, this technique is implemented
in the SAS® System in PROC LOGISTIC. This
paper gives an overview of how some common
forms of logistic regression models can be
implemented using PROC LOGISTIC as well as
important changes and enhancements to the
procedure in Releases 6.07 and above of the SAS®
System, as well as new features available in Version 8.
