1         Introduction

This document is toset standard guidelines which every developer should follow when they implementa production level implementation. This is to ensure that we deliver productswith high quality.

2         Object Studio

Object studio supports the processstudio in developing a business process. Object studio has the ability tointeract/ communicate with the applications and aid in automating the end toend process. This section will cover the EY standard best practices to structurethe Application Modeller (applicationmodeller is the tool in Object Studio which interacts with the applications)and each page in an object.

2.1   Application Modeler

No URL should be specified in theapplication modeller

                              

Application Modeller should be laid outin the following manner

·       Applicationwindow should be spied using Win32 mode. This element can be used whileemploying spying methods such as Access Accessibility and Region Mode forimplementing techniques like inserting keystrokes, Image Recognition etc.

·       Elementsshould be laid in such a way that the parent element should be the screen/pagename (e.g. Login Screen) and all the elements in that page should be added aschild elements under the respective parent element (i.e. Targeted elementspresent in Login Screen like use name field, password field and login button).

Syntaxfor naming element:

Element Type – Element Name - Spy Mode*
