U.S. Sets Rules for Sharing Health Data

New federal rules are expected to make it easier for patients to get their digital health information from hospitals, doctors and insurers and transfer it to apps that might help use or organize it. But patients may not understand that the health privacy rule known as HIPAA often won\'t apply to these apps.
