Excellent opportunity for someone outside the banking industry with around 7+ years commercial software development experience in C++, Java or C# to join a large, extremely successful Investment Bank in Shanghai. PhD graduates with relevant degree looking to return to Shanghai are also welcomed

Good role for someone looking to learn about the Equity Derivatives business, cross train into new technologies and work with very intelligent people.

You will be trained to learn about how Equity Derivatives products are priced and traded with a career path that could take you in a number of directions depending on how you want to shape it! It all depends on what motivates you... money? technical challenge? or business complexity?

PhD graduates with relevant degree within Computer Science / Engineering / Finance or similar looking to return to Shanghai are also welcomed

Responsibilities
• Developing Equity Algorithmic Trading Systems for APAC
• Sit on trading floor and work closely with traders to develop first class execution trading strategies
• Manage projects where required, ensure business requirements are met and work with the business to identify and document functional requirements
• Working with the Global front office team to design efficient trade support flow

Requirements
• Degree in computer science or related discipline
• Strong technical background in software development
• Experience developing C++ or core Java applications using Multi Threading for LINUX
• Strong exposure in C# is also an advantage
• Excellent communication and organizational skills a must
• Knowledge of FIX, DMA, STL, Scripting is an advantage
