Cash income data obtained from farm records is decomposed with a regression technique suggested by portfolio theory. Farm debt structure is simulated and maximum feasible relative debt burdens are estimated for several one and two enterprise fatmtypes. Sensitivity of the maximum debt burdens to changes in credit terms is explored.
