我用stata自带的auto文件做回归，若用菜单file---open打开，再回归：
regress price mpg
则提示：
“op. sys. refuses to provide memory
r(909);”？？
而用命令“sysuse auto,clear”,再回归，则正常。
这是为什么？

The file you want to open and with which you want run regression can be opened and treated without problem. This is an exemple of otpit from you data The problem can be explainedby your stata version? this is a standerd version of your data. Hope that helps
