【内容提要】本文通过对江苏地级市面板数据的分析，提出城乡收入差距的变动趋势在数学意义上具有库兹涅茨曲线的特征，但下降阶段还不能确证，其内部三大区域收敛有较大区别。外商直接投资和社会事业投入有助于缩小城乡收入差距，而大多数的经济增长因素、间接分配因素与经济干预因素都扩大了城乡收入差距。因此，继续提高区域开放程度，增加科教文卫支出在财政支出中的比例并修正包括教育等公共资源在城乡分布的不均衡，是缩小城乡收入差距的重要途径。
