Working knowledge of master documentation, specifically ISDA, including confirmation processes.
General understanding of derivative products and market practice in that area.

Primary Responsibilities:
(a)
Manage, co-ordinate and negotiate all master andcollateral agreements (ie. ISDA Master Agreement, Credit Support Annex,PSA/ISMA Global Master Repurchase Agreement, etc.) in the Asian region.
(b)
Assist in the review and drafting of non-standardconfirmations in the Asian region as required by Operations department.
(c)
Ensure compliance with Paris (Head) Office masteragreement negotiation policies.
(d)
Keep abreast of legal issues and developments onmaster documentation in various legal jurisdictions in Asia.
(e)
Maintain accurate records of pending and executedmaster agreements.
TransactionManagement:
(a)
Liaise with Credit, Collateral Management,Relationship, Front Office and Operations departments to ensure internalpolicies are met, the bank’s interests are protected and master agreements areexecuted in a timely manner.
(b)
Work with external counsel to ensure precedentdocuments are maintained for various legal jurisdictions in Asia.
Files/Records:
(a)
Maintain complete and concise negotiation files,including internal approvals, correspondence records and legal opinions wherenecessary.
(b)
Ensure in-house databases are kept updated andaccurate.
(c)
Provide fortnightly negotiation status reports tosenior management.
General:
(a)
Comply with and implement policies and procedures.
(b)
Educate trading and credit personnel as to masteragreement policies and procedures.
(c)
Ensure business contingency plan is maintained.
