讲到夸张，大家可能会想到 exaggerate，比如说：他总是爱夸大其词，可以说：He's an exaggerator. 但是这个词比较长，不好读，所以呢，教大家一个口语中简单好用的习语，也可以表示“夸张”，就是 over the top.
top 顶端，over the top 在顶端之上，如果一个人总是想要去到顶端之上，是不是很夸张？所以，如果想说：Tony 很夸张，Tony is over the top. 这部电影夸张了，The movie is over the top.
发音
读音上，注意 top 的元音，不要读成 ‘透普’，美音中发音是 /ɑː/，top，mountaintop，over the top.
