This solution manual contains solutions for a few of the problems in the textbook Probabilisic Graphical Models: Principles and Techniques, by Daphne Koller and Nir Friedman. The exercises for which solutions are provided are those that were used over the years in Daphne Koller’s course on this topic. (Most of these exercises were included in the textbook, but a few are new.) Hence, the coverage of the solutions is highly biased to those topics covered in the course.
For some solutions, we have included relative point allocation to different parts of the question, which can help indicate their relative difficulty. To assist in grading, we have also sometimes included common errors and the number of points deducted.
