Post Specification

Key Duties andResponsibilities:

1. Providing researchassistance to professors, including collecting data and analyzing data;

2. Replicating research papersassigned by the supervisor;

3. Assisting in tutorials forundergraduate courses;

4. Preparation of teachingmaterials/classes;

5. Studentconsultation/supervision and coordinating student academic activities;

6. Providing support forresearch grant applications and academic activities, such as forums,conferences, lectures, symposiums, etc.;

7. Undertaking otherassignments assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications andRequirements:

1. Bachelor degree, preferablya higher degree in Accounting;

2. Good teaching, communicationskills;

3. Fluent English, both inwritten and spoken English;

4. The ability of workingindependently, as well as the spirit of teamwork;

5. Knowledge ofStata/Matlab/SAS is preferable and willingness to take up extraresponsibilities;

6. Qualifications like ACCA,CPA would be a plus. Previous working experiences in publicaccounting/corporate accounting are preferred.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive,commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be madeunder the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be providedaccording to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointeewill be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
