P&ID
Piping and Instrumentation diagramA P&ID is a blueprint, or map, of a process.Technicians use P&IDs the same way an architect uses blueprints. A P&ID shows each of the instruments in a process , their functions, their relationship to other components in the system.Most diagrams use a standard format, such as the one developed by ISA (Instrumental Society of America) or SAMA(Scientific Apparatus Makers Association).
