On January 8 Chinawill enter its 40-day Chinese New Year transportation, or “chunyun” period, the world’s largest annual human migration. Hundreds of millions of people travel across the country by train to reunite with their families. Some spend days and nights in line at the train station to get a single ticket, but millions of others are never able to get on a train home, according to relevant reports.What’s new this year, however, is passengers can buy train tickets online during the Chinese New Year transportation period.
