It does not matter whichever industry you are in. The key here is that you must have the key competitive advantages, either differentiation advantage or cost advantage. It's hard for the agriculture industry to have differentiation advantage, because foods are considered to be commodity without any difference in general sense.

So if there is no change in the mode of agriculture system in China, I don't believe the income will change much. But still even the low value-added job is valuable in the society, or it should disappear.

So the real argument here is no that how to increase the income in the agriculture, instead let us talk about how to move talented people into other industries,and in the meantime, keep the agriculture job position to those who dont want to change their way to adapt to the new environment.

不太明白，楼主说“不洗脚上田”是什么意思。不过也谈谈个人见解：

现在我们都在讲实现农业的机械化现代化，但是我想补充一点，就是日本的情况，日本耕地少，无法机械化，庄园化，但是他们采用了先进的作物品种，并且精细施肥培育作物，同样生产出很具有价值的农产品来。

还有一点，我们要提高农业附加值，也可以在绿色农业上做文章，因为现在农业的高产出都是使用大量农药，使用大量化肥，就饲养业而言，有的农户给牛喂化肥 ，当然也给猪打针吃药 ，还有的肉食鸡每天吃抗生素，所以这些都是我们需要解决的问题。

LZ就是说要把农民的数量减下来，用马克思的理论就是提高农业的资本有机构成，减少劳动力，增加农业资本。

但是要达到这一点必须放开户籍制度，让人口自由流动起来；并让土地长期使用权归耕农所有，建立农业金融体系，使资本能落在土地之上；建立合作社经济和龙头企业，让人才和技术能回归土地。
