（一）普通现在时1.表示现在习惯动作或存在状态。  He gets up at six in the morning. (习惯动作)他天天早晨六点钟起床。  He is always ready to help others. （现在状态）他总是乐于助人。2.表示客观真理、科学事实。  The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.太阳从东方升起，从西方落下。
3.可用在由if， unless引导条件状语从句；由even if/though 引导让步状语从句；由when， before， until/till， as soon as， the moment 引导时间状语从句；由no matter what/who/when/where/how 或whatever， whoever 等引导让步状语从句中，这时主句往往表未来或主句是祈使句。  Whatever you say， I will not change my mind.不论你说什么，我都不会改变主意。
