1. Title: Senior SAS ProgrammerFunctionalResponsibilities:       

·  Support all programmingfunctions for the Department: Create and maintain various Analytic Data Marts,data preparation for    modeling and analysis, model scoring, and data validation.      

· Support all databasedevelopment, management, systems and user interface/support.·      

· Design, develop, enhance andmaintain applications, using the SAS language and incorporate other languages,such as HTML or  C++ as necessary, including programming, testing, anddocumenting of developed procedures.·     

· Interface with cross functionalteams to solicit business requirements and develop programming specifications. ·        Manage a team of programmersand system developers.

Requirement

·        Five plus years of extensive experience in programming developmentwith the following SASproducts (but not limited to): BASE, MACRO, STAT, CONNECT, EnterpriseGuide and Web Enabled tools.

·        Has in depth knowledge in bestpractices in technologies, including new SAS products; Relational databasemanagement such as Oracle database, Teradata; Platform environment such as UNIXenvironment, and Data Warehouse Solutions.

·        Experience in IBM mainframe architecture TSO,JCL in an MVS environment.

·        Highly developed analyticalskills.

·        Superior problem-solvingskills;

·        Strong written and verbalcommunication skills, including the ability to communicate with crossfunctional teams and users of various technical backgrounds.

·        Extensive experience andknowledge in SASdata step programmingand Macros.

·        Extensive experience andknowledge for SAS to interface with other databases as well as (word, excel,access, and power point).

·        Extensive SQL knowledge andexperiences.

·        Ability to learn quickly andwork independently.

·        Team player who can lead,collaborate, excel, overcome challenges.   

Education andExperiences:

·        Master Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statisticsor related fields from topschools. Ph.D.preferred.·        Experiences in financialservices, credit card industry, and marketing are preferred.

  2. Statistical Analyst - Campaign Management, Segmentation,and Targeting

•       Develop individualized andcustomized targeting strategies.

•       Maximize file penetration rateand return of investment through development of new strategy, segmentationtechniques, profiles, and list selection.

•       Ensure fully understanding andaccurate execution of all statistical models.

•       Communicate with crossfunctional teams in a clear, precise, and timely manner.

•       Initiate and implement variousanalysis and segmentation techniques for the targeting database in order tomaximize profitability.

•       Accurate estimation of annualmember flow for yearly Budget process of Direct Mail/Telemarketing.

•       Track campaign performance on adaily basis and conduct various statistical analysis specific to each client,recommend possible changes and testing for the upcoming campaigns based onanalysis findings.

•       Build Segmentation Tree models(such as CART and CHAID) to maximize profitability in addition to acquisitionmodels.

•       Develop business requirementsfor data management and ensure accuracy of data prepare requests, scoringexecution and campaign selection.

•       Support companywide customerretention efforts and maximize lifetime value of members.

TECHNICALSKILLS REQUIRED

•       MS in statistics or relateddisciplines from topschools (e.g., economics,sociology, demography, mathematics, computer sciences).  Ph.D is preferred.

•       Experts in Microsoft Suite:Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.  Advanced excel techniques such aspivot tables & macros and VISIO are preferred.

•       Knowledge of techniques relatedto decision tree algorithms, such as CHAID, CART, and Neural Network.

•       Strong SAS skills and workingexperience in MVS &UNIX environment.

HIGHLYDESIRABLE

•       Quick learner, Independent, andself-motivated.

•       Strong work ethics, dependableand team oriented.

•       At least 1-2 years relevantexperience applying technical knowledge in business applications such asdatabase marketing and risk management.

•       Knowledge of variousstatistical techniques.

•       Verbal and writtencommunication skills to present highly technical information to laypeople in aneasy to understand manner.

  3. SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST and STATISTICIAN

POSITION SUMMARY

As a memberof the marketing modeling and analytic team, the statistician works closelywith cross functional teams to develop strategies to target the most profitableprospects, to retain valuable customers, and to promote profitable customerbehaviors. Developpredictive models for customer acquisition using advanced statisticaltechniques and tools to target the most profitable prospects for direct mail,telemarketing campaigns, other future channels. Engage inmodel deployment, model performance tracking and MIS, and validation. Analyzecustomer behaviors and patterns; Develop customer engagement strategies. Conductclusters and profiles analysis of prospects and customers for product designand marketing strategies. Develop andimplement test designs, champion and challengers for marketing programs. Conductad-hoc data analysis and develop ad-hoc MIS/Report related to databasemarketing and customer segmentation. Utilize largevolume of internal and external data sources in model development and statisticalanalysis. Identify data sources, develop data queries, and conduct dataexploration and data mining.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

In-depth andextensive knowledge of statistical, decision tree, mathematical techniques andtools including the following, but not limited to, linear regression, logisticregression, probit regression,  cluster analysis, principle analysis,factor analysis, and survival analysis.

At least 5 years workingexperience in predictivemodel development and analytics in areas such as Direct Marketing,Database Marketing, Customer Acquisition and Management in financial or relatedfiled.

Have strongmodel development disciplines: model approach, project management,interpretation, implementation, and documentations.  Superioranalytical, research and problem solving skills.

Superb SAS skills in Data Management, SQL, BASE, Data StepProgramming, Macros, majority of SAS Procedures.

Experiences in R are strongly desired. Excellentskill in automation to increase efficiency in model development.

Excellentproject management skills to build and execute project plans with clearlydefined deliverables, timelines, and ownerships. Provide prompt and timelyupdate with progress, issues, and risk mitigations.

Excellentpartner engagement and influencing skills. Experiencesin UNIX and Mainframeenvironment.

Experts in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

EDUCATION

MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics,or related disciplines.
