今年春天，中印两国领导人将2012年作为为“中印友好合作年”，并表示以此为契机全面提高两国在经济、文化、科技等领域的合作，以巩固两国战略合作伙伴关系。作为中印文化科技交流的一部分，印度云期刊出版公司（Cloud Journals）携所创几十种新期刊面向中国征集稿件。本次征文所接受的论文将有机会免费在线出版（open access）。
