Three University Programs Receive Risk Accreditation
PRMIA has recently awarded risk accreditation to three university programs. Students completing appropriate courses within accredited degree programs will be eligible for exemption from PRMIA's Professional Risk Manager Certification (PRM™) Exams I and II.
1. New York University - Leonard N. Stern School of Business
2. University College Dublin, Institute of Bankers in Ireland – Executive Masters in Risk Management (ExMRM)
3. Heriot-Watt University – MSc in Quantitative Financial Risk Management
PRMIA Makes Changes to PRM Exemption Program
PRMIA has begun the process of reviewing and updating the PRM syllabus and making changes to the program. During this process we are limiting the cross-over exemptions accepted for credit. Effective June 1, 2013, we will only provide the following exemptions:
CFA Charterholders
Exempt from PRM Exams I and II
Associate PRM
Exempt from PRM Exam IV
University Accreditation Programs
Exempt from PRM Exams I and II
If you are a PRM candidate and have passed any of the exams listed here and would like to receive PRM exemption for them, please submit your request to
certification@prmia.org by June 1, 2013.
