The development of digital solution is of increasing interest to many insurers. Alibaba, Ping An Insurance and Tencent have just won regulatory approval for an online insurance company which is expected to be China's first property insurance company selling all products and handling claims online. Insurance companies, like most financial services companies continue to control a unique and valuable array of largely untapped information assets. How insurance companies could understand and take advantage of their "information balance sheet" will become a key competitive advantage in the fast growing insurance e-business space. This webcast will explore the development of the insurance e-business market in China, and draw broad conclusions regarding the likely future direction.
