Research and Innovation Center (RIC) is a global research unit of Towers Watson.The mission is to help develop Towers Watson capability to serve clients withleading-edge thinking, data and knowledge resources. RIC serves as a center ofexcellence for developing research papers, synthesizing technical developments,and managing and implementing new data resources and tools. RIC also providescost effective shared support for the knowledge, data and research needs of theclient development group and corporate functions.
Established in 2006, RIC Wuhan isa research and development center to complement our existing global researchcapability. Our businesses include:

Segment: Talent & Rewards (T&R)
The Talent & Rewards research focus on a wide range of topics coveringhuman capital strategy, including executive compensation, talent management,rewards planning, and organizational effectiveness. Through a broad set oftools and solid data, we generate insights to help organizations in getting theright people in the right places, doing the right things, at the right cost.The research examines the up-to-date market trend under a dynamic businessenvironment, so as to provide human resource relating solutions to marketleaders.
We are open to graduates with HR management,Business Management, Marketing or Business related background.
Segment: Benefits
In Benefits segment the research is mainlyfocused on retirement planning and health care. Most retirement projects arerelated to topics of pension, either from US or UK, and cooperation with US orUK research teams is common. The research investigates defined benefit anddefined contribution pension schemes, annuity rates, stochastic mortality modelingand asset liability management, aiming to provide a systematic framework forreaching a low-risk long-term funding target. Meanwhile, pension problems dueto accelerated population aging and implications of health care system reformin modern China are hot and rising topics. The research consists longitudinalevaluation of current health care system and mortality improvement tofacilitate decisions for market leaders.
We are open to graduates with economics orfinance and students in quantitative science (mathematics,statistics, etc.) are also welcomed
Segment: Risk and Financial Service (RFS)
RFS team provides core research andconsulting support services on a host of business challenges that range fromcarrying out financial modeling to other well thought and sophisticatedanalysis. In doing so, we help our clients understand and manage risk andcomplexity in the area of pensions, asset management, investment and fixedincome.
We are open to graduates with background in MathematicalFinance, Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, Quantitative Finance orEconometrics from leading institutions.

Job description:
l Work closely withsenior researchers and consultants within TW to deliver highquality services
l Generate cut-edge research products with business influence
l Contribute to TW globalpublication, present research outputs over global academic conference
l Lead service lineand consulting support work with high quality
Requirements:
l Master degree orabove from leading institutions;
l Proficiency witheconomic and statistical software (STATA, SPSS), MATLAB, VBA, C++ or R infinancial modelling will be a plus.
l Very good commandof foundational theory and deep understanding of the implications
l Publishing paper orworking experience in research unit will be a plus.
l Excellent writtenand oral communication skills, both in Chinese and English
