Opportunity

 

The Analyst Training Program is modeled after top Wall Street analyst programs. 

 

The two year program is ideal for candidates wishing to grow rapidly and develop expertise in the financial research industry, as well as knowledge of various global sectors / companies.  It is highly suited for candidates who are looking to gain valuable experience by working with ex-strategy consulting / ex-investment banking professionals in a multi-national environment, and whose aim is to develop expertise in investment banking / strategic consulting.

 

Throughout the program the analysts receive classroom and on-the-job training focused on both technical and soft skills.  The technical training programs help analysts become experts across valuation and company analysis.  The award winning Management Development Program is a unique program aimed at developing effective leaders and focuses on a number of areas, including communication and motivation.  

 

Upon completing the program, Analysts receive a diploma from the company.  Many of the Analysts have gone on to join investment banks such as UBS, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan.

 

 

Daily activities of Senior Analysts include:

 

-          Participate in research studies for leading investment banks in China, Hong Kong, and other financial centers

-          Develop expertise in research process: data gathering, synthesis, analysis, presentation

-          Develop and communicate creative methods to access required information

-          Develop expertise in leading databases and financial sources

-          Provide coaching to other research team members

-          Communicate findings to Vice Presidents and other team members

 

 

Required Background

 

-          Excellent academic results from leading schools

-          Strong problem-solving / analytical skills

-          Strong written and verbal English / Mandarin skills (Alternatively, strong written and verbal Japanese / Mandarin skills)

-          Highly motivated, ambitious and hard working
