Do you want a global career in Finance that changes how people live with Diabetes?
Then join the Global Finance Graduate Programme in Novo Nordisk! The programme is a great opportunity for future Finance leaders to join the world’s leader in diabetes care.
Finance is focused on driving competitive value creation in Novo Nordisk. This means transforming numbers into more than reporting, controlling and accounting and creating a solid platform upon which to stand and reach even higher than we have historically. Managing assets and funds, ensuring financial compliance, making and challenging decisions and handling risks proactively are just a few of our activities.
Structure of the Global Finance Graduate Programme
The Global Finance Graduate Programme is a 2-year journey consisting of four six-month rotations. Three of the programme rotations will take place in our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. These rotations will be within key finance units in Corporate Finance, or with our central Production Finance units. The fourth rotation will be in one of our global sales affiliates or a production site. Through the rotations, the programme gives you a thorough understanding of the core finance processes, and equips you with the finance and project management skills required for a successful career in Novo Nordisk.
After successfully completing the programme you will embark on your career at Novo Nordisk with a permanent position - typically in Denmark. However, your broad network and international experience from the programme will enable global career opportunities.
Development opportunities
As a Global Finance graduate, you will be an instrumental part in ensuring that the global Novo Nordisk finance organisation achieves its vision of being the best finance operation in the entire pharmaceutical industry.
You will be part of various dynamic teams, each of which provides Novo Nordisk with a competitive edge and drive shareholder return. Here is an example of how they could take place:
· Rotation 1
The first rotation could be managing our financial plans in Research and Development, production or sales regions in Corporate Finance.
· Rotation 2
The second rotation could be in FLIR Consulting (our internal management consultancy) to gain project management competences. You could be working on offshoring to our Global Service Centre in Bangalore or developing functional strategies for our organisational units.
· Rotation 3
The third rotation could take place at one of our affiliates or production sites located outside of Denmark - giving you true international experience in a global organisation. Our recent graduates have worked in e.g. Japan, US, Belgium, Brazil, Greece, India, China, Turkey and the UK.
· Rotation 4
Your last rotation could be a rotation in a specialist department such as Treasury, Corporate Tax, Corporate Strategy or Marketing.
During the rotations you will work as a full team member and learn the finance skills relevant to the rotation placement. Additionally, you will spend 30%-80% of the time on key change projects. The rotations are all characterised by a steep learning curve and high expectations will thus be set for you.
