Where can I download R Essentials software which can be used with my IBM SPSS Statistics application?

[size=1em]I am using IBM SPSS Statistics and would like to know where can I download R Essentials software?

Answer

[size=1em]You will find the R Essentials for download on the IBM Webpage Tools for SPSS Products.
First you need to log in with your IBM User ID and password. If you do not have a IBM web user ID click on the link to register yourself. After login to the Tools page you will find the following offerings:

IBM SPSS Statistics Version 19 Essentials for R - Version 19.0.0
IBM SPSS Statistics Version 20 - Essentials for R - Version 20.0.0
IBM SPSS Statistics Version 21 - Essentials for R - Version 21.0.0
IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22 - Essentials for R - Version 22.0.0

For example when you would like to download the R software for Statistics release 22 click on
IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22 - Essentials for R

On the download section you will find the following download options. Select the installation instructions and the software for your operating system, e.g. when you use a Microsoft Windows 32 bit operating system download IBM SPSS Statistics - Essentials for R 22.0 FP1 for Windows 32-bit.

Please note: Before you install the below R Essential package please read:
IBM SPSS Statistics - Essentials for R: Installation Instructions (per platform)

Please also note that the below package requires to have Statistics 22 FixPack 1 installed first. The R Essentials do not include R software. It is described where you can obtain R software for your operating system on the installation instructions per platform.
