Graduate program means commitment, not to mention big investment triggered.
Majority of the candidates are not satisfied with their current situation:
either academic status or career prospective.
If the upper argument is true for you, you'd better gauge your cost to get it done and the possibility of turning your dream into reality with the degree. I do believe the latter is more important than the former.
Another issue, my professor strongly recommend candidates to apply Top 10 or Top 5 programs.
Otherwise, the graduate degree won't going to help you too much.
I know it is challenging. let me give you an example:
The rent for a non-superior booth is much cheaper, however, it won't generate much revenue for you, not to mention make profit for you.
OK, another question. Go abroad.
If you can make it all by yourself. Do it, the experience will definitely add value to your future career.
Yes, I do meet a lot of students from Top 3 schools in China.
Majority of them with scientific or engineering concentration.
The tuition is waived for their superior academic performance.
For the business major, majority of them came here with parents' fund.
Normally they are not as competitive as the former.
All in all, identify your target.
Make non regrettable decision.
Persistence will lead your way.
