Abstract

The purpose of this coursework is to investigate the influence of working capital managementon firms’ performance for airline industry. The primary data involved of ten airline companies listed in different stock market has been used in this study over the period of the year 1990 to 2010. The results are ensured by using the regression analysis for identifying the relationship between working capital management and firm return and value. From the aspect of conceptual analysis from other  researches, working capital management has a significant impact on the realvalue of companies. However, from the empirical evidence of this article, it is concluded that firms in the airline industry sector cannot increase their stockmarket valuation through effective working capital management.
