资产负债表扩大是什么意思？

欧元区一QE，资产负债表就会扩大，这是我在新闻里看到的。可在下实在不懂其中奥妙，还望赐教！

Hi wdvps,
here is my understanding of Eurozone QE.
Normally speaking, the central bank will dump cash to absorb governmental debts (bond), and normally at premium, which makes the assets bigger.
