You will get an email from SOA with an register code. with that code, you will need to go to Prometric website to pick a test center and time.

The best calculator depends on which exam are you taking. Normally when you read the study manual, the book will tell you which calculator to use.

1. After I picked a test center and time, I didn't receive a confirmation letter from SOA. Is that unusual?
2. I know there are several calculators that I can choose, they are:
BA-35
BA II Plus*
BA II Plus Professional Edition*
TI-30Xa
TI-30XIIS*
TI-30XIIB*
TI-30XS Multi View (solar)
TI-30XB Multi View (battery)
I will take the exam P. Can you give me an advice on which calcultor should I choose?

TI-30XS Multi View (solar) or TI-30XB Multi View (battery) for exam P.
BA II Plus Professional Edition* for FM. you could also use for exam P. but not as good as the multiview.
