CPPCC :Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference .
The first CPPCC was hold in 1949.
It is the Chinese people's patriotic united front organization and an important form of socialist  democracy.

On March 3: CPPCC meeting open ,Yu Zhengsheng make the  work report of CPPCC.
Mao Zedong was the first chairman of the CPPCC.
Yu Zhengsheng is the chairman of CPPCC now.

NPC:

The National People's Congress of
the People's Republic of China.
The first NPC was held in 1954.
NPC is the highest organ of state.
Powers:  legislate, execute laws, make decisions on major issues and appoint and remove officials.

Deputies are from every administrative region and army, the minority  are entitled to appropriate representation. Deputies shall be prescribed by law, and be elected for a term of five years.

Liu Shaoqi was the first chairman of the NPC.

Zhang Dejiang is the chairman of NPC now.

The NPC&CPPCC is held once a year . We call five years a term. It aims at getting  information from people and solve any problems afflict Chinese society,longing for better development in future.
