紧急求助 这是一道公司理财的案例分析 虽然学了一个学期的理财课 不过拿到这样一道案例题还是不知道要算什么 从哪里下手 求助高手给点指点 或者给我一个方向也行

Case Study

 

1. Background

Autoparts is a tier one supplier to all the leading automobile manufacturers in the world. They have 2 plants and one holding company with more than 800 employees in China now. Below is some information of the plants in Shanghai and Guangzhou.

 

The product of Shanghai plant and Guangzhou plant is R. Shanghai plant supplies R to SVW, SGM, Dongfeng Nissan and Guangzhou Toyota. Guangzhou plant supplies R only to Guangzhou Honda. Selling price is delivery price. Below table is sales volume forecast for next 3 years.

Shanghai plant has 2 production lines and Guangzhou plant has one production line now. The annual capacity of one production line is 30,000 pieces. Investment of one new production line is 1.0 million RMB.

 

There are 3 components of R – F, S, W. Suppliers of F, S and W are in Shanghai. Transportation cost of F, S, W within same city is 0.20 RMB/pcs, transportation cost of F, S, W between Shanghai and Guangzhou is 0.80 RMB/pcs. Transportation cost of R within same city is 0.30 RMB/pcs. Transportation cost of R between Shanghai and Guangzhou is 1.10 RMB/pcs.

 

2. Optimization of manufacturing activity

Autoparts China is considering to reorganize their manufacturing activities to improve service and reduce cost. The idea from management team is to relocate one production line from Shanghai plant to Guangzhou plant before end of 2009 and supplies Nissan, Toyota and Honda from Guangzhou plant since 2010.

 

Relocation cost of one production line from Shanghai to Guangzhou is 200,000 RMB.

 

After relocation, headcount of Shanghai plant will reduce by 35 and Guangzhou plant will increase by 30. Average monthly salary of Shanghai and Guangzhou plant is 2,500 RMB. Autoparts pay 13 months salary per year to its employee. Average service year in Autoparts of Shanghai plant employees is 3 years. According to labor law and company policy, employees could get N+1 months salary as compensation if they are laid off. Here “N” is their service year in Autoparts.
