The methods of experimentaleconomics have been becoming more and more widely used in the research ofeconomics, business and other social science fields. In order to fostercommunication about the state-of-the-art research among scholars in or usingexperimental economics, we are pleased to announce 2016 Beijing NormalUniversity Conference on Experimental Economics, which will be held fromDecember 24th - 25th, 2016, at Beijing Normal University in Beijing, China.
We invite scholars to submittheir work based on experiments of human subjects (either in the lab or in thefield). We are particularly interested in the interesting research that interacts with one or moreof the following fields: economic theory, development,labor, game theory, finance, marketing, education, political science and public policy. We areinterested in receiving submission that either speaks to the implications ofimportant economic theory or deepens our substantive knowledge about aparticular developing country such as China.
It is our great honor to haveProfessor Yan Chen (University of Michigan) as the distinguished keynotespeaker for this year’sconference.
PAPERSUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION
Researchers who would like topresent their work at the conference are invited to submit an abstract (not exceeding 250words, including title and co-authors) to economic.lab@bnu.edu.cn. Please note that allsubmissions should be in English; each participant will be limited to presentone paper. *The submission deadline is October30th, 2016*. Decisions of acceptance will be announced by November15th, 2016. The tentative program will be announced by the end ofNovember.Noregistration fee is required for this conference and meals will be providedduring the Conference.
