With due respect to the professor, I don't think it is a useful economic analysis. To the contrary, it is full of nonsense.
There are both good and bad with globalisation and economic integration.
One should not talk about autarky when there are some external shocks.
The price of autarky is much higher than economic integration.
While at present there are a lot of such talks, they are myopic at best and insane at worst.
