About the Author
Z. Justin Ren is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Boston University Questrom School of Business. He was also a Visiting Scholar and Research Affiliate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management from 2009-2013.
Professor Ren teaches analytics courses and advises companies on tools and models that help managers gain market intelligence and make strategic decisions. His consulting clients include INTEL, Staples, BestBuy, Payless Rental Car, PWC, among others.
Dr. Ren is also a Silicon Valley investor and financial advisor. He received his M.A. degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, his M.S. and Ph.D. in Operations and Information Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
