Abstract: The article discusses the nonqualified deferred compensations and arrangements for college and university coaches in the U.S. It mentions that the said financial tool might serve as an important tool in recruting, rewarding and retaining coaches, and it can also be structured to attract coaches to an available position, and retain a valued coach. It states that the said financial tool can be integrated to provide a desired incentive to form al long-term relationship with the institution.
