I am not sure you are talking about passing the certification test or about you want to learn SAS.
If you want to learn SAS the best way is read it/do it/think it.
1) Get a copy of SAS software
2) Go to SAS website and free download SAS documents
3) Read it / cut-paste its program and run it / change something run it again and see the result is expected
To learn programming is like to learn swiming ----> practice is much more help than reading.
Most books provides less information than SAS manuals.
