In 2009, the Board adopted a comprehensive, targeted communication strategy to raise public awareness of the CDM and correct misconceptions. Aspects of the strategy include: enhanced press outreach; giving a human face to the CDM through photo and video contests; making the CDM easier to understand through recordings of experts posted online; and working with national authorities to reach potential
project participants.
