EADS Global Sourcing Network--Intern

The EADS Executive Committee decided to set-up a Global Sourcing Network (GSN) with Sourcing Offices in Strategic Countries with the objective to further improve EADS sourcing footprint in these countries.
The mission of EADS Global Sourcing Network entails:
1. Acting as an agent of change of EADS Global Sourcing footprint
2. Supporting EADS Business Units in sourcing from strategic countries
3. Supporting EADS Business Units in formulating consolidated global sourcing targets
4. Leveraging the impact of existing EADS organizations and competencies as well as synergies/critical mass of Business Units
5. To support this mission in China an EADS China Sourcing Office has been created, managed by EADS Corporate Sourcing, and integrated within EADS China (see detailed mission hereafter).

Position Intern – Procurement Intelligence
Role & Responsibilities
1. Identification of suppliers
2. Coordinate with industry association of China to monitor material supply market
3. Collect country Marco economic data to define/update sourcing competitiveness matrix
4. Maintain and update country sourcing profile.
5. Collect commodity market data to support cost model management
6. Maintain China supplier data base
7. Support in screening of Suppliers
8. Coordinate team visit to China Suppliers
9. Centralize Business Units requirements
10. Fulfill tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirement:
1. University above，graduate student is preferred.
2. Excellent English skills, especially in oral and written
3. Marketing experience is preferred
4. 4 days per week for at least 4 months
5. We are hoping a long term availability of more than 6 months.
6 The internship begins from July 10.
