The aftershocks of the financial crisis continue to wear on investors. As we pass
the parcel of debt to whoever will take it, it reminds us of a much more topical
sport. We hit the pause button on sovereign fear and turn to football for some light
relief as we search for World Cup winners. On 11th June, 32 teams will come
together for the biggest sporting event ever to be held in Africa.

potential winners. See inside for how they chose Brazil, Germany, Italy,

We study the theme and travel the globe for UBS’s highest conviction stock picks.
We select a FIFA World Cup squad of 23 players: 11 in the starting line-up and 12
sitting on the bench and ready to go. See game schedule on page 16.

(i) High conviction Buy (and 2 Neutral) ideas in their own right (ii) feature a
World Cup kicker; (iii) three-quarters of stocks are trading at a discount to Global
