Various states have been active in regulating pesticides to control groundwater contamination, An overview of recent state initiatives in pesticide , regulation is presented. Trends show increased use of regulations that reduce pesticide users' property rights. Tobit analyses show the influence of various economic, political, and physical factors on the legislation.
