《When You Believe》是由玛丽亚·凯莉和惠特妮·休斯顿为动画影片《埃及王子》联袂配唱的主题曲。

当时，歌曲的两位演唱者惠特妮·休斯顿和玛丽亚·凯莉是被分别邀请演唱该曲，但是起初并无合作打算 。

在《埃及王子》制作团队之一杰弗里·卡岑伯格分别向两人展示了《埃及王子》的样片和《When You Believe》的小样之后，两人对该曲均产生浓厚兴趣，最终决定由两人合作演唱这首歌曲。由此，才产生了惠特妮·休斯顿和玛丽亚·凯莉的超高水准合唱。
