China Association of Actuaries students
Have you passed a qualification in China?
The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Association of Actuaries.
Those who achieve the Associate qualification of the China Association of Actuaries (CAA) will be able to apply for exemptions from the UK Actuarial Profession’s exams, CT1-CT8 and CA1. This applies to those who pass all the exams for the CAA’s Associateship after 17 March 2011.
We will require an exam history letter from the CAA showing the exams passed and confirmation that the applicant is an Associate of the CAA.
Anyone qualifying as an Associate of the CAA, or passing any of the exams required for Associateship, before this date will not be recognised under this agreement and cannot apply for exemptions from the UK exams.
We are currently finalising the exemption application process. Details will appear here shortly.
