According to Platts, YNCC in Korea plans to shut down its #1 naphtha cracker from late January for one to two weeks for unscheduled repairs to its cold box. According to the Korea Petrochemical Industry Association,YNCC’s # 1 cracker was recently expanded from 510k tonne/year to 860k tonne/year in November 2006.
