 Highlights
 Hong Kong. We expect faster export growth while M3 moderates (p. 2).
 Korea. Industrial production likely to show signs of bottoming while consumer
goods sales confirm steady consumption growth (p. 3).
 Philippines. Upbeat imports in January consistent with strong exports (p. 4).
 Singapore. Manufacturing probably contracted in February on holiday closures
and sluggish tech recovery (p. 4).
 Taiwan. CBC likely to raise policy rate by another 12.5bps next week, while
both M2 and the index of leading indicators likely slowed in February (p. 5).
 Thailand. Exports extend upbeat trend in January, and probably keyed an
increase in manufacturing production (p. 6).
FX and IR Updates
 China. We expect another hike in policy rates by 27bps probably in 3Q07
 India. We believe the tight liquidity conditions that triggered sharp appreciation
in the rupee are a temporary phenomenon and will likely ease very shortly
 Malaysia. Investor friendly measures such as liberalization of capital controls
and incentives to boost the property market should lead to more ringgit strength
