ASA math is not hard if you have math background. MFE need some very basic stochastic differential equation skills. Most of the exams need probability and statistics concepts exclude FM, which focus more on basic math. Undergrad level is enough. ASA needs you to calculate more than to prove, so no need to extend to general probability concepts.
