I want to know that, in Spanish they have to change the words depend on different person(conjugación), or some other European languages as well, but in Chinese we don′t have it. So how could we Chinese learn it? Do you have any good suggestions?
1) You have given a talk on TEDx Lingnan regarding how to quickly master the speaking of the language in six months. I am curious to know your advices on how to further improve after the first six months' of crash course. Where should language learner start on the second part of their language journey?
2) In a professional world, learning how to speak fluently might get you some English-speaking friends, but it is hard to get recognized without decent level of professional writing. There is an unspoken glass ceiling for foreign supervisors treating Chinese employees differently because their written expressions are inadequate and/or their understandings of harder vocabularies are poor. How do you advice language learners to pick up "hard" vocabularies (e.g. consternation, placate, caucus, mitigate, etc., words not expressed on a conversation level) quickly and effectively? How can they "upgrade" their professional writings effectively?
